Goethe wrote: the colour “…is, as it were, a stimulating negation”. Yves Klein used only the blue colour for the sake of the fullness of audience’s immersion into perceiving completeness and infinity of a single colour space. His handprints become the markers of personality, which make the only reminder of something gone forever and absent.
‘Refer to a Human’ is a project aimed at audience’s co-authorship in that infinity, at them becoming the marker of disappearance and dissolve in chaos and in visible nothing. |
