‘Scotoma’ 

Sсotoma - от греческого "темнота", слепой участок, существующий в поле зрения любого здорового глаза. В психологии - отрицание или непризнание каких-либо действительных фактов, переживаний. 

Социальное отчуждение, фокус которого направлен на повседневность, отражается в коллективном бессознательном. Обезличенный индивид повторяет попытку самоидентификации. 

Перформер одет в максимально безличную одежду и маску, похожую на одежду супергероя, но маскирующуюся под окружающую среду. 
Смысл кристаллизуется на стыке социального и материального, показывая давление общества на индивида и усредненное «состояние души», диктуемое средой.

Word ‘Skotoma’ meaning ‘darkness’ comes from the Greek language. This is a blind area existing in the field of vision of any sound eye. In psychology, it means denial or non-admission of some real facts or emotional experience. Social exclusion focused on the everyday is reflected in the collective unconscious. An impersonal individual repeats the attempt of self-identification. The performer is dressed in as impersonal clothes as possible and wears mask thus almost blended into the surrounding environment. The sense crystallizes at the intersection of the social and the material. It shows social pressure on the individual and demonstrates the average ‘state of mind’ dictated by the social environment.
