Человек, подчиняя себе природу, в частности лес, привносил свои правила пользования новой для него территории. Делал ее удобной и пригодной для собственных нужд. Иногда эти изменения меняли привычный уклад существования растений и животных, пересекая тропы перемещений, создавая световые и звуковые нарушения среды обитания. Добавляя архитектурные малые формы, спортивные объекты, более удобные пути перемещения и в принципе меняя ландшафт, человек переделал лес под парк, окруженный большим городом.

Серия фотографий об Измайловском парке, созданная, в рамках резиденции, использует прием databending — это общий термин для различных методов управления цифровыми медиафайлами на базовом уровне с использованием программного обеспечения, предназначенного для редактирования файлов другого формата. При этом приеме человек не контролирует изменения, происходящие с картинкой. В проекте был использован текстовый редактор. Удаляя и перемещая буквенный формат, в котором предстает фотография, художник теряю контроль над изображением. Итоговые изменения фотографий и цифровой пейзаж, повторяют путь трансформаций уже природного ландшафта. Сохраняя цельность восприятия картинки, при этом добавляются или теряются нюансы исходного файла. Создается новый пейзаж цифрового леса.

By getting control over nature, in particular the forest, people introduced their own rules for the use of the territory that was new to them. People made it convenient and suitable for their own needs. Sometimes these transformations changed the habitual way of existence of plants and animals: crossed the paths of movement and created light and sound disturbances in the habitat. By adding architectural small forms, sports facilities, more convenient paths of movement, and basically changing the landscape, people remade the forest into a park surrounded by a large city.

A series of photographs of Izmaylovo Park created within an art residence uses the technique of ‘databending’. That’s a general term for various methods of managing digital media files on a basic level using software for editing files of a different format. When using that technique, a person has no control over the changes occuring to the picture. The project uses a text editor. By deleting and moving the letter format, in which the picture appears, the artist loses control over the image. The final changes to the photographs and the digital landscape repeat the transformations of natural landscape. While the integrity of the perception of the picture is preserved, the nuances of the original file are added or lost. Thus, a new digital forest landscape is created.
