Валерий Чтак “По дороге в ИГУМО и МКИК”, стена, акрил

Проект посвящен району Измайлово и институту, в котором проходит фестиваль. В мастерской художника в этом году приняли участие студенты и преподаватели ИГУМО и МКИК. Не менее активное участие приняла и ректор учебного заведения Марина Владимировна Волынкина. Работа на входе представляет дорогу в Институт от Метро. Район Измайлово знаком художнику не понаслышке: он жил здесь и знает его не хуже многих краеведов. Угадываемые силуэты домов района, светофоры и горящая белая луна объединяются линией с характерными чтаковскими «потеками» напоминая входящим, что каким бы ни было ваше будущее всегда нужно помнить и сохранять лучшее, что было в прошлом и настоящем.

The project is dedicated to the Izmaylovo District and the Institute where the festival takes place. Students and lecturers of IGUMO and MKIK participated in this year’s workshop of the artist. Marina Volynkina, Rector of IGUMO and MKIK, also took an equally active part in it. The work at the entrance to IGUMO represents the road to the Institute from the Metro station. The artist knows Izmaylovo District very well: he lived here and knows it as well as many local historians. One can see the silhouettes of houses, traffic lights, and bright white moon united by the line with ‘stains’ actively used by Valery Chtak. The work reminds those who enter the Institute that they must always remember and preserve the best of the past and the present irrespective of their future.
