Работа посвящена болезни Альцгеймера и отсылает к научному дискурсу, доказанным медициной симптомам. В то же время автор обращается к эмоциональному восприятию мира человеком, к той реальности, которую субъект строит в своей голове на основе увиденного глазами.

Белая половина картины – это нечто стабильное. База, на которой держится человеческое сознание. Вторая, яркая половина – нечто нестабильное, субъективное, основанное на воспоминаниях и личных привязанностях.

The artwork is dedicated to Alzheimer’s disease and refers us to the scientific discourse and medically-proven symptoms. At the same time, the author turns to a person’s emotional perception of the world, to the reality that the person constructs in his or her mind based on what he or she sees.

The white half of the picture is something stable. That is the foundation serving as a backbone of human consciousness. The second bright half of the picture is something unstable, subjective, and based on memories and personal attachments.
